bunny and girl by Annalee bunny and girl by Annalee
This is the girl(yes, it`s a girl) from my "winter" pic, beside her there is this lovely rabbit. I wanna make a comicbook with them, but I have no idea for a story, which is actually a problem. And they haven't got names, too, which is even more a problem. At first I wanted to call the bunny "Frank", but then I thought "no, some people might think that I stole the name from Donnie Darko" , which would be true.
So, if someone has an idea how to call them, please tell it to me.

PS: How do you like it?
It's a bit yellow, I know.

How about Sebastian for the rabbit?
And Lucy or something for the girl.

I think I might be way behind on this.

Dunno about a name, but have you watched the film Harvey? It's quite old but it's just amazingly written - about a guy and a bunny :D

Great piece anyway, love the chars and the colours :)
I really find it original that the bunny has a nose like that...

I kind of like Lary. Or....haha or Charles. No, just kidding. I just like that name.
Other then that I have no ideas.
Name's are hard.
Good luck. ;)

I thought Alice in Wonderland meets The Stinky Cheeseman (and Other Fairly Stupid Tales) when i saw this...not sure why though.
I love the way you draw the rabbits, because I hate them. It's sooo creepy, and it's horrifying, but in a good way. If that makes sense.

I imagined the girl as being more of a Lu kind of name "Loo, Lu, Lucy" and the rabbit Iffin. Or a Mr. _____, perhaps something excruciatingly cute like Huggins/Huggles/Fluffers. It might just be because in my head, i imagine him being this crude, old-man sort of rabbit, who smokes cigars and swears. *shrugs*

I like it ! i dig tha yellow color, the fuzzy ears on the girl is a nice touch.
comming up with stories is hard tho. but on the bright side it would have a bunny that talks, so you've already knocked down a lot of barriers. now your free to go buckwild :)

Coool!! I love the way you draw faces, especially eyes. The lines on the girls face give it such depth and character. That rabbit looks like one shifty character to me, he will haunt my dreams for a while :(

I love this picture...I like the girl character inyour other pics, adn think that she is wonderfuly represented here. You have a way of making faces so expressive and funny at the same time. It is wonderful. As for names, I woudl mane the rabbit Mr. _____. I feel that he is a mister kind of a rabbit. For some reason, the rabbit reminds me of the cigarrett character that is used in dunesberry. All of your other work is wonderful as well. I ahve to devstalk you now.

Keep the yellow tint! It looks better like that, more kind of moody.
Interesting pic anyway. I like the way you have done (Emilyís) eyes

What kind of setup did you use to draw this (type of digital brushes etc?)

Thank you.
I just took a sketch and coloured it with the common Photoshop brushes, mostly I used one colour and then took the tool which makes it darker or lighter. I don't know if this is a good answer, but it's not easy to explain.

I love it! Somewhat reminiscent of the work of Lane Smith.

The expression on the bunny is priceless, and the girl just adds to it.

Names? Bunny and Hubert. The girl being bunny and the bunny being Hubert. This will help add to the confusion as well as the sexual ambiguity of the young girl, people will naturally assum the bunny is named bunny of course.

Anyway, great stuff... lemme just fav this here.

It's very smooth and professional looking. Expressions are wonderful. If it were me, I would probably give the rabbit an old-timey male name that isnt really common anymore. Herman, Walt.. something like that. I really like Elliot too. I'm sure youve already named him but, blah.

wow, beautiful work!you get better and better with every drawing!how did you color this?amazing!if you're not too busy with fan mail, would you like to do that little art trade?(you have me draw something,i have you draw something, then we trade over deviant art)what should we draw though?

here's a couple of suggestions..
1.make up our own monsters
2.cartoon characters in a strip club
3.cartoon characters watching porn, reading porn magazine

ps:any other ideas.......

You made some interesting suggestions, I tend to the third one with the porn magazine, but I would like to see you drawing something that is totaly clean and sweet like e.g. some cute puppies playing on a green meadow full with flowers (yes, I know that's hardcore) or maybe a peaceful sleeping baby in his mothers arms. *g*

neat picture, and this would make a great concept for a comic. while your style is unique, it reminds me of mark ryder. as for names, well the first name that came to mind (for the bunny) was sinatra. i probably got that idea because the name frank was mentioned, and frank sinatra just popped into my mind. while the girl, she reminds me of my best friend, katie.

oh, that is very cool. i like the yellowness. i'd love to buy a comic of these.
for names, i like Muffy (for the rabbit) and Helen or Linda. i think she looks like the type of girl who would have some old lady's name. maybe Ruth. or Marge. or Margaret. there are too many names, i've decided.
